Florin Streteanu Universitatea Babes-Bolyai
Florin Streteanu, born in 1972, is the Dean of the Faculty of Law, within Babeş-Bolyai University from Cluj-Napoca, Romania’s biggest university. He was the President of the special Commissions working within the Ministry of Justice which drafted the new Criminal Code and the Law for the application of the new Romanian Criminal Code. Since 2003 he is head of the Criminal and Forensic Sciences Masters Program at the Faculty of Law of the Babes-Bolyai University (Cluj-Napoca). Until 2013 he was the Head of the Criminal Law Department, in charge of the Criminal Law course, at the National Institute of Magistracy in Bucharest.
On the international lever, professor Streteanu had many international working experiences, either as a Visiting Professor in universities across Europe (Reims, Strasbourg III, Zaragoza, Limoges, and Nantes University etc.) or as an Associate Research within CREOP Limoges, and also within European professional networks.
As well, Florin is an Associate Professor in charge of the Criminal Liability of Corporations in Comparative Law course, (2nd cycle level) at the International Faculty of Comparative Law in Strasbourg and ad hoc Judge at the European Court of Human Rights.
