Improving Cooperation between EU Member States in Confiscation Procedures

Michael Fernandez-Bertier specializes in white-collar crime, criminal procedure and compliance. He is a Lecturer in the Tax Management Executive Master Program at Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management, a Lecturer in the Certificate in Business Ethics and Compliance at Louvain School of Management, a Teaching Assistant in Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure at Université Saint-Louis – Bruxelles, and a scientific collaborator and PhD candidate in Law at Université catholique de Louvain. He regularly speaks at conferences and trainings in Belgium and abroad. He is a board member of Transparency International Belgium and a member of the editorial board of the Belgian Criminal Law and Criminology Review (Revue de droit pénal et de criminologie).
